We've had trouble for years playing against the bigger, more physical players and they appeared to be intimidated by trying to shoot over a 6' 9" player who blocked several inside shots. We haven't had that physical inside presence for a long time. Not dissing on the players we have, it's just the reality and when the refs let em play, we are at a disadvantage. Doesn't explain the poor shooting but maybe they are pressing and worrying about the shots going in rather than just shooting.
