If both OU and UT go to the SEC, that's bad news for the ACC and the others


It is one thing to get to 4 conferences. But if there is a clear imbalance in ability, they conferences won't be treated equally in terms of the future of a college football playoff (which will also give cover to ND to stay independent), as well as TV money and coverage...and prestige.

Not saying it won't go down as you suggest, but the ACC should be angling disrupt this. I think UT to ACC is possible too, but getting them to the ACC will be complicated. That's why I think the ACC should be aiming for OU. Let them bring OkSt too.
