Warner wasn't instrumental in getting VT into the ACC


Casteen had 1000x more influence than Warner. Warner jumped onboard because it was the right thing to do, and that was far more symbolic than substantive.

UVA had also been VT's greatest advocate in the past because they know what's good for one university also benefits the other. When it comes to ACC politics, expect VT/UVA to be a 2-school voting block.
