I guess you can call it a dream. As you get older, things start to fail ( eyesight, muscles, bones and money resources). If I continue to retire in Blacksburg, I would lose my prime parking space on chicken hill, my 50 yard line seats, and my rail seats in basketball. I could easily just play the money game but I always paid my dues on time and did my part. Losing all of the above and knowing that someone that contributed less over their lifetime is parking in my space while I'm taking the bus is not appealing. I'd always be thinking "what if".

I'm comfortable with this decision and I don't want to discourage others from contributing; in fact, I hope more people come on board. Thank you for asking.
