I think they created problems for Notre Dame early but Notre Dame adjusted after the 5 minute time out in the 1st quarter. The Irish pretty much controlled the game from that point on.

Vanessa Panousis is trying to get out of her shooting slump. She was more active on both sides of the ball tonight. Sami Hill has been quiet for the past 3 or 4 games. Sidney Cook and Regan Magarity played hard, but Notre Dame has too much front court talent and depth. Chanette Hicks took it to the basket more tonight than she has the past few games. Kendyl Brooks made some big 3's that got the game under 10 points, but our defense didn't make enough stops to get any closer. I thought Notre Dame didn't bring their A game tonight but maybe that had a little to do with our defense. In the end, Notre Dame's talent and depth were too much for our team. Their 2nd team was just as talented as our first team. Right now, we only have one dependable player coming off the bench and that is a true freshman guard. I expected tonight's result. Georgia Tech will be a tough game. I think the team improved in some areas tonight but we're still in a major shooting slump.
