I don't think the SEC has any reason to jump to 16 just because...

the Pac12 does. They have their rivalry games protected now and they are not splitting their money with 2 more schools that don't move the needle. The SEC is not a reactionary bunch, I'd be more concerned with the ACC doing something stupid than the SEC.
