I am not sure the Big XII and/or the NCAA can overlook Baylor's

second major scandal in 14 years. The first major scandal involving Baylor's men's basketball team in the early 2000s which included the murder of Patrick Dennehy in 2003. For some people, 14 years may not be a long enough time between major scandals. Also, it may even show a lack of institutional control since the school may not have learned anything from its 1 "get out of jail free card" it received with the men's basketball team. If Baylor has become too toxic enough, then the Big XII and/or NCAA may not have the luxury of waiting until the Big XII's GoR expires in 8 years.
