ND doesn't have any traditional rivals in the Big XII.

The closest to it would be Texas, and ND-Texas doesn't have much history compared to other ND rivalries. All of ND's traditional rivals include the service academies and existing members for the ACC, Big Ten, and PAC12.

The most likely choice to make the transition easiest for ND would be for the ACC to add Navy. We get back to that, and it could be made to work IMO. I don't think ND would be able to convince someone from the Big Ten to come with them.

WVU brings rivalries that exist already with ACC schools. ACC sponsors would have to push for WVU. I wouldn't expect ND to be a sponsor of WVU.
