I would think that the members of the PAC12 would push Larry Scott to do something different with that PAC12 network before doing anything else. Or they could oust Larry Scott altogether.

They could try to align themselves with another larger player in the industry like ESPN, Fox, NBC, CBS, etc. with equity stake in the network. Larry Scott has already turned down ATT once, but this could be revisited. I think they would try something like that first.

The schools are unhappy with all the night games to please ESPN for east coast late night broadcasts. They could move away from that with another partner. I don't know how many are watching 10:30 pm games in the east anyway.
