Looks like a good pick-up. She had good stats at UMBC. The rest of the transfers were not getting playing time last year. I do see where Smith (JHU) is starting. Maybe she just needed a change in scenery. We'll have to see how Welch (JHU) pans out. All 3 come from top notch high school programs which is usually a plus. As far as the true freshmen, not much to see on the stat sheet except for Caskey in a reserve role. We will hopefully get more contributions as the season progresses. Really good players typically see significant playing time during their freshman years. If you are not getting in against G-W, you are not going to see much, if any, playing time.
