Pitching options??


I do not understand why Scott waited so long to make the pitching change. Normal strategy would have been to change at the start of the inning. Our starter is both a freshman and had only one strike out. Meaning she wasn't throwing it by people. So you want to insure she has a good chance for the win plus you want to give the opponent a different look in the seventh.

If we truly are going to approach pitching from a committee angle, as he stated in the preseason writeup, then he should have had some options and this is the time to test them out - prior to ACC play.

Just happy for the girls and love getting the win!
