No one is asking for a new coach. However Coach's are not above criticism especially when they are in the ACC, make 600k a year and are showing negative progress as the year plays out.

How can you say Wolff was in any way comparable to Beth? She took a very strong program that had multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and drove it straight down the gutter both on and off the court.

Wolff had a absolute disaster to fix and in his 5 year the team won 18 games and won a NIT game. He got them to a postseason and missed out on another post season by 1 game in his 3rd year. In the same time he improved recruiting each year and brought student-athletes into the program that the school could be proud of. Ultimately Whit decided that he wanted his own man which is fine, that his is right. However Brooks inherited a team that won 18 games and its two best players are Sophomores and are both All ACC caliber players. He also inherited 3 very good seniors. He also lost to a poor UVA by 50 points after the team swept them last year and is on a 9 game losing streak.

To compare what KB inherited to what Wolff or Buzz overtook is ludicrous. Buzz had a unbelievably clear improvement his first year, night and day. That has not happened with this coach and he inherited a 1000% better situation then Buzz did.

And for anyone who responds that he has a short bench that is Brooks fault. He was hired in March, he had plenty of time to recruit, he brought in 2 players on top of the players Wolff signed and they have not helped the team. He also ran a talented freshman player off the team already. That is his fault.

Brooks makes 600k a year, he can be criticized. It is ridiculous how this board was relentless in attacking the previous coach and any word negative to Brooks is immediately pounced on. The facts are the facts, the jury is still out on how he will do, but he has not come close to showing the improvement Buzz or JF did in their first year and his recruiting is very suspect to date. It is too early to judge either way but it is a joke how this narrative has been controlled on this board.
