Before the game he spend time chatting with Buzz. Very locked in and seemed to enjoy the conversation. When VT honored Buzz by presenting him with a ball for his 200th win Bennett clapped much longer than just the expected length of time. It seemed sincere to me.

Following the game at the press conference he was on point about his team's failure to make free throws that "could" have cost them the game. He was quick to point out that this alone would not guarantee a win for them as VT could have countered and made some plays.

While I am in agreement about my distaste for their slow offense I respect the man and his coaching ability. I just feel he now has the talent to score at least 75-80 points a game while maintaining their pack line defense. As a result he allows the opponent to stay in the game too long.
