Athletic Department debt at Maryland was reduced under Yow.

Debbie Yow served 16 years as Maryland AD. That's the longest AD tenure at MD since Curley Byrd, and during her time Maryland won 20 NCAA championships. Ralph Friedgen was one of the more successful coaches at Maryland that she hired. Gary Williams didn't get along with Debbie Yow, but that's more of a reflection on him than on her IMO.

Debbie Yow was not the problem at Maryland.
