The MAC has no interest in Liberty and I know the Sun Belt doesn't

have any interest in Liberty. When the Sun Belt added App State, JMU's and Liberty's name both can up as possible candidates. JMU declined because it wants to be in a northern conference for recruiting its students. Sun Belt didn't pursue Liberty because Liberty sees itself as another "BYU" or "Notre Dame" for the Baptist church. The Sun Belt even considered Liberty again when it kicked Idaho and NM State out and still came to the same conclusion; Liberty's ultimate goal is to become a FBS Independent and be a non-football member in a conference. Hence why I said the MAC has no interest in Liberty (see the UMass situation).
