Title IX is a primary reason you will not see more ACC schools

add men's lacrosse as a varsity sport. Tech, for example, would probably have to either add two women's sports or drop one or two men's sports to field a team. U Va is always on the borderline - that's why it has women's field hockey and rowing.

Associate members would probably be the best way to go to enhance the lacrosse product. Lacrosse is very popular in the North and Notheast where there are a lot of TVs and folks watching it.
