lots of stories about what was and was not said flying around at that time but, I believe you got it right. Some of the other allegations against Brands paint him in a much worse light if that is even possible. Brands deserves all the bad that can come his way but, he is not the only one. There are people inside Iowa athletics who facilitated things as well and the dislike of the Hawkeyes by a lot of people tied to NCAA wrestling is well deserved and not just tied to their success in the sport. Iowa will never be confused with a first class program that does things the right way.
