This is the statement...

"To the parents of the current wrestlers and the parents of the incoming freshmen, your sons will be in great hands. I wouldn't leave if they weren't."

That was a statement he made in the email. To assure recruits that they will be in good hands is what leaves me to believe his wish is for his staff to carry the torch. Could be interpreting it wrong though.
