I still can see Tech beating Louisville or/and UVA. IMHO, both of those programs are about as good as JMU. I think JMU has a better goalie than those 2 teams.

If Tech could get 3 ACC wins and take care of our non-conference schedule, we would make it to the NCAA tournament. 3 ACC wins usually gets teams in and playing the top ACC teams well (even if we lose) won't hurt our RPI. It's early in the season and it seems like John Sung has adapted to the new 90 second possession clock rule better than some of the other top 20 teams. I also think we have surprised a few with our improved quickness and physical play. All the D-1 coaches should've known that was coming when Sung took over. I just don't think they thought it would happen so fast. Our future opposition now has a few game films of us to study. I just hope Sung adjusts better than Kenny Brooks did with the women's basketball team.
