They have a good shot at a top 10 finish at NCAAs (maybe top 5)

My quick breakdown...
DMR: We qualified a DMR team. Actually, we had two separate (eight different guys) teams that made the top 12 this year, both running 9:31. We probably will not run any of our individual qualifiers in the relay, but we can still put together a strong team. Some of the other teams will probably load up their DMRs, so it will be tough to score here. Outside shot at a point or two.

800: The outstanding 800s by Joseph and Piazza are why we moved up so much in the last week. They both ran 1:46 and are in the top 5 in the country. UTEP has a couple of studs that will be right up there. Both Joseph and Piazza could/should score here.

mile: Gourley qualified, and I think he could score. Cheserek ran a collegiate record 3:52.01 yesterday, and he is the heavy favorite. Colorado has several horses that will probably be right behind him. Gourley has a tremendous kick, and he is also a smart racer.

Pole Vault: Volz has the 2nd best mark in the nation, and Laidig is 5th. Both have the ability to win, but you never know with the PV. I would expect them both to score.

Every point is tough at NCAAs, but 15-20 would put is in the mix for top 10. Top 5 would probably take 25-30 points.

On the ladies side, Hanna Green should score in the 800, but that will be tough to win (Rogers from Oregon will probably take it). I think she is our only qualifier.
