With cord cutting increasing...this is not good. If you are in debt now,
it will only get worse with the cord cutting. The B1G and the SEC numbers are heavily based on cable hook ups. ESPN will not be able to sustain the pay out if the cord cutting continues and they still can't balance the books.
I saw NASCAR fall off the map after hitting ridiculous numbers. Don't kid yourself, you have to have the numbers to keep the numbers. Just like junk mortgages devastated the housing market in 2008, it can unfortunately devastate college football too if fans stop spending on it.
