If the P-? goes to four 20 member conferences divided up into 4 divisions of 5 schools, then the Power-4 will have to increase from 65 to 80. That would be good news for all the Big 12 schools and good news for BYU, the military academies, and 11 schools from the G-5 (most likely coming from the AAC and MWC). I always thought 72-80 members would be the ideal number for the P-4. The P-5 could reduce its membership to 60 with 3 conferences of 20 members but I don't see the Pac 12 or ACC imploding.
