I will never forget that day as it was one of my worst days of the "nothing tragic happened" variety. Not that anyone cares, but I made a day trip to Blacksburg to watch that game, got a speeding ticket on the way down on I-81. When my friend, who volunteered, took my dog out that day it got in a fight with another dog nearly got his ear bit off Mike Tyson style which lead to a $400 vet bill. And then Coach G left Sailes and especially Tucker in way too long (meaning Deron Washington rode the pine) and Clemson got a big lead early and won a close game late. That likely caused us a 4 seed in the NCAAs and we could have avoided a poor 2nd round matchup.
