How big was yesterday's WLAX win at #10 Duke?


Yesterday's win at Duke was our first ACC road win and only our 2nd top 10 win (beat #7 UVA in 2012). It was also our first Top 10 road win. Before John Sung arrived as head coach, Tech had 6 Top 20 wins and 3 ACC wins. In Sung's first 9 games at Tech, he has 2 ACC wins (40% of the program's ACC wins) and 2 Top 20 wins (25% of the programs Top 20 wins). Our 2 ACC wins this season are the first wins that we didn't have to win in OT or by one goal. Let's hope that we can continue to improve and make the NCAA tournament for the first time in our program's 23 year history.
