I am not sure if that would be true or not given that HS baseball


(at least here in the US) uses metal bats too. I am not sure what kind of bats are used in the Latin American countries. Personally I wouldn't be opposed to seeing collegiate baseball make the switch to wooden. Although I thought I remember reading somewhere about a summer league (i.e. Cape Cod League) that uses wooden bats. However, if college baseball is going to make the switch then I believe HS baseball should switch too.
