I wasn't suggesting that college soccer should go head to head with

MLS or any other pro league out there. Although they might on the weekends given the various time slots. During the week there is a little more flexibility since schools will sometimes play matchings during the mid-afternoon which presents its own TV issues.

I know the interest in soccer has increased in the US. I would consider myself to be a huge soccer fan and even enjoy watching the lower pro tiers play on TV. However, I am not sure the US culture is ready to embrace it (the lower tier part of it). Remember the US culture has been "trained" in the other sports that most of the top athletes will make a stop in college before going on to whatever US pro league. However, soccer is different because of how it is structured. In terms of talent, collegiate soccer is somewhere between the Football League One and Football League Two (probably closer to Two) of the English Football Tier System. How much interest do Americans have watching a Football League Two regular season match on TV? Hence why I referenced DII and DIII American football.

Don't get me wrong I would love to see more collegiate soccer televised. I am just not sure how much of a market there is given the talent issues associated with the product.
