When I was younger (born in '77) I used to attend Turks games


during the 1980s and I remember them using aluminum bats. I guess it was afterwards that the league switched to wooden bats. Since both leagues use wooden bats and both are considered to be the best summer leagues, I wonder if there is any connection between the type of bat used and the league's reputation.
