I like that Palm and Mandel have us as a 7 and Lunardi and SI...
...have us as an 8. It's great. Gives me a lot of hope.
But other people who spend just as much time on their brackets have us much closer to the cut line. There's a distribution to how we're perceived, I think you'll agree with that. I love that the major media consensus is that we are comfortably in. I think that even has the potential to impact the committee's perspective. I'm just saying it's not a given that the committee agrees with those folks, and that's my concern.
I admit that this is somewhat arbitrary paranoia. I mean, I'm telling myself that if we win tonight then there is officially nothing more to worry about - we would be in, well above the play-in games no matter what. But if I'm this worried now, why wouldn't I still be somewhat worried after beating Wake Forest and losing the next game?
Don't know what to tell you. I'm taking nothing for granted until Sunday evening. Zero.
