Roster on HokieSports lists 34 players of whom 17 have P as their position.


I would speculate we need 4 starters, 4 middle relievers and 2 closers. Mason was the former pitching coach and we have a new pitching coach. Can't they find or create quality pitchers out of the 17 on board?

Offense is nice but not being able to stop teams is demoralizing: in football, in basketball and in baseball.
