The "resources" I was referring to are the facilities


and other things needed for the schools to produce a live broadcast. Although I do agree with your point.

For example you mentioned the issue with the UVA-UNC baseball game was not having a camera positioned behind home plate. If an existing facility was not constructed with the thought that live broadcasts may be made from there some day, then it is unlikely the facility has space designated for cameras to broadcast from ideal positions. It is unlikely the revenue from the conference will cover the necessary renovations to the facility to add designated places for cameras or build a brand new facility and still be able to use the money to cover expenses that may be related to other sports. Something may have to give at different times.
