Every decent non-p6 coach gets a much better job offer the instant they do well in the smaller conferences - a couple turn that down, but most don't. Couple that with the improved exposure for prep players - fewer good players slip past the p-6 and the fact that kids want to be on TV and that means you need to go to a p-6 school.
