I agree. But I'm not necessarily talking about today. And Boeheim...


retires next year. But after Boeheim retires, SU will run the risk of losing any future good coach to a university from the B1G or SEC with more money.

My point is that if any of those ACC schools I had listed had a good coach, they could get easily get poached and there wouldn't be much they could do about it.

That said, I'd feel much better if Tech were in the $120+ million revenue club. Right now, I think Tech would be 2nd from last in revenue in the SEC and well within the bottom half of the B1G. Unfortunately for Tech, the approximately $80 million in revenue is not going to be enough toprotect us from schools like Ole Miss, Iowa or USC-e (for example) should they want one of our coaches some day... not to even mention the big boys like OSU, Michigan, Bama or Florida.
