Brad Underwood has left OK State for the Illinois job.

We were led to believe around this time last year that Buzz and the folks in Stillwater got very close in some level of talks about the then-open head job. In fact I believe CC reported on this board some detail he had heard about Buzz reaching negotiation about specific things he wanted with them.

All that said, and again I don't want to perpetuate annual speculation that we all fear/are "told" we'll have to deal with, unless they ended on less than friendly terms I'm not sure why Oklahoma State wouldn't make another run at Buzz. And that Buzz wouldn't listen.

We will probably never know anything Buzz keeps very tight-lipped. Last year Kyle Bailey in a radio interview asked Buzz point-blank about job speculation which specifically pertained to that Oklahoma State job and Buzz gave a non-answer that sort of made you think he was considering it.

Only time will tell. Just something to keep in mind, I'm not trying to start a fire.
