Wrestling is an unusual sport in that so much of it is between the ears. This is obviously true in all sports, but I think it's much more so in wrestling. I was always amazed at how well guys who really weren't that good technically did because they thought they were really good and were always going to win. I think the best coaches are master psychologists. I'd encourage Whit to consider that with his hire. I don't really know which way that will take him and I'm not dismissing the technical part. I hope he aims high because I think Tech could become a perennial power and the students would ultimately really get behind it. This team was really a lot of fun to follow and support. And I'd like to see more events at Moss.
