Your opinion about the "spiral" ride

Hope that's the right name. Controlling wrestler is on the opponent's back with feet underneath and through hooking the inner thighs forcing the bottom wrestler spread-eagle with little leg leverage.

I know there are turning options BUT I've seen it done rarely. To me it is another form of stalling. It takes away from the action and flow of the match.

I cringe when it is employed because the referees do not consider it stalling and a stalemate is rarely called.

I'd like your opinion for/against and why. APPRECIATE!!
