VT didn't suck. VT is squarely in the upper half of 32 - 68

along with Miami and Wake (maybe not upper half). The ACC may only have one team in the top 16, but there's 5 in the top 32. This is all using a metric, tournament performance, that has a crappy confidence interval. Big 10 has 3 in the top 16, 2 in the top 32, and 2 in the top 64

How much better is 3/2/2 then 1/5/3 when a toss-up (Louisville vs Michigan) going the other way makes it 2/3/2 vs 2/4/3.
