I'm not completely discounting them


But the body of work throughout the whole season (including the results of the NCAAs) is what tells the tale. The NCAA performance was obviously weak. though most of our ACC brethren got out of the first round. It was the Round of 32 where we hit a wall.

A LOT of depth in our league, but as most who followed the league knew, almost every team had a fatal flaw. Our's was depth in the front court. With an even below-average front court, we could have been a MUCH better team, but we just didn't have the bodies. LeDay is a good player, but more of a scrapper. Sy just wasn't ready. And at the end of the year, that's all we had in the front court. That isn't good.
