Excellent analysis of the strengths of the new head coach and the challenges to get to the next level. These are basically the same challenges (other than the immediate concerns about assistants) that the team faced just a month ago with Dresser as HC. The RTC is so important.

The Hokies have risen very high in the past five years and are now bumping up against the Chinese Wall between the perennial Top 4 and everyone else. Lots of big and small steps remain to breach that wall.

Seeing some of the advantages that the big 4 have (like freaking Teasdale suddenly committing to PSU - as if they need him!) is frustrating, but imagine how many other programs would kill to be in Tech's position right now pounding on that wall.
