From the practice highlight video

It's spring football, basketball is over and full contact football is still a LONG ways away so I've been very Hokie sports deprived so I was watching and rewatching the highlights from the first practice and did notice that Bush was running with what appeared to be most of the "projected starters" on offense. Now before we all get jump the gun and start with the "it's day one of spring practice that means nothing" I understand that and I concur with that sentiment. But the one thing I do gather from that is that seems like everyone is going to get a fair shot at becoming QB1 at least at this point in the game. Another thing that concerns me is Double H's frame looks extremely thin. Obviously at 6'4" and coming in a 196 that is a thin frame and one that is going to have to add a little bit of bulkiness to if he is going to hold up through a few sacks and hits on scrambles. Thankfully he got here early and will have a summer in the weight program to see what they can add on. Now I know a lot has been made of Fuente and his apparent preference to a tall QB which all of the ones on the roster fit the bill except Jackson. At 6'1" he comes in as the shortest QB even a inch shorter then Mummau. Now if that means anything or not will remain to be seen but it's certainly going to be an interesting QB race and I have a feeling we are going to be grasping at every little tidbit of QB info we can get because I can imagine we are not going to get a lot of info especially through the spring.
