If you are only looking at the free side, those stats include post

season games. So bubble teams that went to the tournament and lost, are negatively affected as compared to a VT team that went and won at least 1 NIT game.

You have to look at pre-tourney rankings, under the subscriber side, if he has them there. (I asked a while ago, he said he was working on it).
