then I am a little hesitant to think he had a high ceiling (aka a lot of talent). At times he may have shown flashes here and there which could lead someone to conclude that he has a high ceiling and for whatever reason has not achieved his full potential. Then again these "flashes" may have been nothing more than outliers. The trouble with projecting talent level is you can never be too sure when a player has achieved his/her maximum potential, overachieved his/her maximum potential, or even underachieve his/her maximum potential.
