He has certainly had a couple good runs
And four NCAA Tournaments in a row is solid. I admit that his resume is very good. Maybe I'm letting the old words from those well-connected folks cloud my thinking a little bit. But Dayton is a place that is well set up to win.
Crean also had a very good resume though and he did a VERY good job turning Indiana around as quickly as he did. He just never got them over that hump. We'll see if Archie can be that guy. Ultimately I'm not sure he's an upgrade though after 9 years, it's probably worth the risk.
But Miller is DEFINITELY better than Alford who I think is EXTREMELY overrated.
