I think this is more of an example of a school overreaching in their coaching search. Why on earth would Brey or Smart leave their current positions? Smart just got to Texas and Brey has been in South Bend for a very long time and he has built a very good thing. No reason to leave now.

I think Hurley would be good choice as mentioned below and I'm sure he'd take it.
