Insight from OSU friend

The staff had high hopes for him when he was recruited. The raw talent is definitely there. As the article said injuries limited his playing time his first 2 years on campus, then he couldn't crack the starting line-up when healthy. The thinking around Columbus was that his pursuit of a graduate transfer was a mutual decision between coach and player to open up a scholarship for incoming freshman. OSU's passing game wasn't very good last year. Was it coaching, poor receivers or both? A change of scenery may do him well. Hopefully he'll thrive under Fuente's direction.
