Congratulations!!....
You finally answered a question below on the sellout streak. By the way you should study your original post as it is a classic symptom of YOUR problem.
Not many people here, to my knowledge have argued that the ACC is necessarily a well run league or that there are not things which could have been done differently. The contention is, and always has been that the ACC continues to move forward to strengthen its position and what you term excuses and speculation are more often than not recognition of the reality of the landscape and options that were really available. Just because it isn't fast enough or large enough to suit your taste does not indicate a fatal flaw.
Your contention that the ACC was a premier league 15 years ago but, now crumbling is laughable. You were asked to support that assertion with criteria and facts previously and so far you have conveniently ignored the question or are unable to defend your contention. The reality is that while the league has, and still does trail other leagues, in the top line revenue number, the present position of the league relative to the rest of the Power 5 leagues is measurably stronger NOW than it was 15 years ago in terms of membership, on field performance and the financial bottom line. The debate is no longer about the ACC's existence which is a significantly stronger point than the days when people speculated about the Big East and the ACC. The Big East has died and now the Big 12 is square in the discussion as you even acknowledged in discussing WVU. You are correct that revenue numbers need to improve for the ACC, however, you are at least premature in sounding the death knell for the ACC, particularly as it relates to programs such as your beloved, even if deep in debt, Terps.
