Thanks for asking.

1. VT should become more vocal. FSU did so and it's REALLY got the Greensboro Country Club moving in a better direction. Heck, I would call for new leadership pronto. But,rumor mill is Swofford's out the door after this network gets up and running anyhow. In the meantime, VT should complain, perhaps in the media as FSU so successfully did, if the ACC does not do what's in the best interest of the football programs. Football is where 80% of the athletics money comes from. Nuff said.

2. When Swoff is gone, make dang sure his cronies are not hired. A total change in leadership should be demanded, by Virginia Tech.

3. Fix the football schedules. VT should be kicking the door in to get more games against FSU, Clemson, NCSt., Louisville in Blacksburg. Once every 12 years is not enough. I would DEMAND that the P5 allow the ACC to determine it's champion however it wishes. EVERYBODY else gets their way, including the Big12 recently. I would go public with complaints there if necessary. ACC's already getting shafted with a much lower guaranteed payout of $27 million compared to $40 million. I would then allow the league to match each team up with 3 rivals and then rotate the other 10 teams through every 2 years. VT would have Miami, UVA, Pitt? and then they would play everyone else in Blacksburg once every 4 years. ACCCG would match the two highest ranked teams. Nuff said. Would prevent the B1G matching up 5 vs. 6, while the ACC game is predicted to be a blowout. Simply, get the best matchup possible. Nuff said. Ratings and ticket sales will be boosted. (If P65 doesn't allow that, then randomly rotate divisions every two years. Make only 7 division games count and any missed rivalry matchups can be scheduled as out of conference. Heck, with only 7 locked in games, VT could perhaps negotiate some out of conference games with Clemson too. Who knows. It's a much more comepetitivly fair system than what happens now. Last year, VT got lucky by only playing Cuse and BC OOC.)

4.Do SOMETHING out of the box. Maybe. Just maybe. SOMEBODY starts talking contraction. Wake Forest and BC do not belong in a Power 5 league. It's clear and both struggle to compete. I would start testing the waters out there to see what could and should happen in that department. They've even both been complaining about having to pay players. They MAY even want to tap out as it becomes even more embarrassing for them to limp along. They could win championships at the lower levels. Lawyers may say it will take 10 years to make it happen. If that is so, start making it known that's the direction the league's going.

5. Drop any and all ACC policies that make it ANY tougher on football programs. Allow NCAA minimum admission standards and allow off site camps.

6. Tell Raycom the door is closed once the contract runs out. Swofford Jr. should get his resume together. Also, keep them as far away from the decision making process as legally possible.

7. Start pushing for the P65 breakaway. That will push the Big12 to make moves. BTW, we all know Texas and Oklahoma aint coming to the ACC. They don't belong anyhow. But what that WOULD accomplish is it would force ND into the league. And then number 16 should CLEARLY be WVU. WVU offers everything the ACC needs (decent football, large alumni base, passionate fans, great geographical fit, natural already existing rivalries, etc..) 4x4x4x4 pod structure will work well for the ACC. Pod with WVU, Pitt, UVA's pretty solid for VT. Furthermore, the ACC is way behind. Status quo is not good for us. the breakaway to the new megaconferences will shake things up. That's good for us and Pac12. I do feel the new P65 or P80 or whatever will involve leagues collaborating and working together.

I'll come up with more ideas. Anyhow, the tremendous damage has been done by adding horrible teams and allowing Maryland to bolt. We are stuck in a still underpaying ESPN contract. Playoff payout sucks too. But, there are things to do for both VT and the ACC.
