If that's what JMU wants, there are really slim pickings.
They probably should stay in the CAA. If they did the Atlantic 10 route like UMass, I don't think that is sustainable. Perhaps they should reach out to UMass and work to both join the American.
The only real conferences available in the northeast are the ACC, Big Ten, and AAC in football. I can't see JMU being happy in the MAC. The ACC and Big Ten are not options. It has become really hard to take football north. Basketball sure, but not football.
