Yes. That's what leadership is all about.
You can't blame the ACC's woes on other leagues and league members. Yes, those can be obstacles, but eventually it falls back on quality leaders pushing through their agendas. You like to blame ESPN for not paying the ACC enough. I don't blame ESPN, I blame the ACC. It shouldn't be ESPN's job to "save the ACC." The ACC should have negotiated a reasonable deal in the first place. ESPN's job is to pay as little for the ACC as possible.
Anyhow, effective leaders are able to get others on board. If they can't then they are not good leaders.
