Thinking what's better for college athletics SHOULD be.


I feel this new P65 super conference will be much more similar to the NFL than the NCAA, which means it will be a run in a much more socialist manner. (We're talking academia here).

And I'm not being naive. What's good for college athletics IS important to the B1G. If there are not solid athletics departments in New England, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, then they miss out on millions of subscribers/viewers/supporters. Same goes for Virginia and North Carolina.

I think there's been a survival of the fittest mentality, but the P4 has been determined and I think they will start acting like it. There's more money in it for everyone if they start to work together. And in fact, they have been working together a ton recently. Other than the ACC being treated like a black sheep, the P65 have collaborated to form a multi billion dollar Playoffs system. They've also worked together to agree to pay players.
