Editing
I try to keep the editing to a minimum to be honest. Periodically, I'll start a question over again and cut that part out, but other than some simple sound correction and noise reduction (coughs, pens dropping on my desk), there's not that much editing time.
This particular episode, there wasn't anything I tweaked or changed. One thing I do continually try to work on is getting a question out concisely. I want to get so much out of a response, it sometimes leads to be droning on with a question. I've gone back and listened to my questions to make sure they aren't crazy long for what I'm looking for.
I'll also mark mistakes or questions that need to be tweaked during the recording process, but very rarely do I re-do a question. If anything, I'll cut off a question at a natural break before I start going off the rails.
If the interview is 30 minutes, it might take me another 30 to get everything up, posted on the site and hit the social media. I've got it down pretty good in terms of start of an interview to finality of posting here.
